2.5 Summary

The evaluation of archery performance with regard to the bio-physiological indicators has been carried out in this investigation. The findings from the present investigation have demonstrated that certain bio-physiological markers, namely calories intake, resting respiration, heart rate, systolic as well as diastolic blood pressure could influence archery performance. It was established from the investigation that a high calories intake, respiratory rate and a lower level of heart rate as well as lower corresponding blood pressure are positively linked with a higher archery shooting score. Moreover, it is shown from the present investigation that the LR model is able to provide a reasonably good prediction of LPA and HPA based on the selected features.
